You think you can visit the Louvre. But you can’t. It’s too big, with too much variety. The Louvre is a museum that needs to be lived with. Lucky Parisians.

The museum is contained within the old Louvre Palace, but the entrance is a modern addition created by architect I.M. Pei, a glass pyramid that has become an iconic location in Paris.

Even though you can’t truly visit the Louvre, you should still definitely visit the Louvre. Just know that you’ll only be scratching the surface.
